Every year the Isle of Wight attractions many of the UK's popular and fun events, be it music festival or family events its a great destination to come and enjoy the island in all its glory, below is a very short list of some of the events for this year!

Rhythmtree
The Rhythmtree is a three-day camping festival on the Isle of Wight which brings together a diverse repertoire of music and a small festival atmosphere for those who want to discover something very different in the UK festival scene. Not afraid to surprise and intrigue, this event has developed its own unique style which is already attracting a loyal following in only its third year.

 

Jack up the 80's - Normally Held in August - Garlic Festival Field, Newchurch, Isle of Wight

Jack Up The 80's is a two day family party to celebrate 25 years of Wight Crystal Spring Water which started production at their Newport plant in 1988. Performing throughout the course of the weekend will be 12 great chart-topping bands and countless fun attractions supported by the Radio station 106 Jack FM for more details!  Wight Crystal is an Isle of Wight charity selling still & carbonated spring water products, flavours & water coolers to fund care services, employment & life-enhancing opportunities for people with a range of disabilities.



Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week Normally Held in August, Cowes, Isle of Wight

Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar since 1826 and is one of the UKs longest running and most successful sporting events. Today it is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world, staging some 40 races each day for over 1,000 boats. Red Funnel has been an Official Supplier to Cowes Week since 2006.  Cowes Week is a fusion of many exciting elements, with its great mix of competitive sailing and shoreside events. The 8,500 competitors range from Olympic and world class professionals to complete novices. In excess of 100,000 spectators come to watch the sailing, enjoy the parties and live entertainment, and to experience the unique atmosphere. It is genuinely a one-of-a-kind event come and see for yourself

V-Dub Island - Normally Held in August
Following last year's success, V-Dub Island is back for 2013. A must for all Volkswagen owners' new and old, enthusiasts and like-minded people, V-Dub Island on the beautiful Isle of Wight is a fantastic long weekend of entertainment, heaps of family fun and much much more. The venue is the County Showground at Northwood with stunning and expansive views across the River Medina, and bordered by ancient woodland.

 

Bestival 2013 - Normally Held in September
Bestival 2013 is boarding now! Bestival returns to the beautiful Robin Hill Country Park, near Newport on the Isle of Wight for its 10th anniversary from 5-8 September 2013 with another mega exciting line-up!  Preparations for the four-day 10th Bestival Birthday spectacular are well underway with the headline acts Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim (Friday), Snoop Dogg (Saturday) and Elton John (Sunday).
